Dr Janice Wong – Wellbeing Manager

Ever humble and shying away from any public form of adulation, Janice prefers to showcase other people’s sparks and strengths.

She leads the team that can be described as the humanity and backbone of the service—holding space and providing a soft place to land 24/7 for the SJWA cohort who tirelessly service the community of WA.

Vikki Bosich – Senior Management Accountant (Rural & Remote)

Vikki is an excellent leader and manager who embodies the St John WA values in an organic and natural way.

Vikki is an active advocate of flexible work options for those who may need them, ensuring all team members feel supported and valued.

Vikki provides her team with a safe and collaborative space to share ideas and vent frustrations.

If Vikki says she is going to do something, she does it.

Anna Kirk – Specialist Care Lead

Anna is a visionary leader in pre-hospital care, transforming how ambulance services integrate with healthcare to improve patient outcomes.

Her pioneering work in ED avoidance pathways, stakeholder collaboration, and paramedic-led innovations has driven systemic change at St John WA.

From leading frontline care in WA’s harshest environments to developing complex care strategies, Anna’s expertise, integrity, and commitment to patient-centred solutions have set new industry benchmarks.

Her impact extends beyond operational improvements—she is shaping the future of emergency healthcare in Australia. Anna is truly deserving of this recognition.

Lee Mack – Operations Lead – Medic

Lee consistently goes above and beyond for others, taking on additional leadership roles and responsibilities while maintaining a calm and composed demeanour.

She is approachable, hardworking, and always makes time for anyone who needs her.

Jo Ruck – Operations Lead (Urban & Coastal)

Jo has really shown what leadership looks like at St John WA—even being asked to run a leadership session with new leaders in the Ambulance Stream. Jo is hard working, honest and brings out the best in those around her.

Congratulations to these outstanding women for this momentous achievement!
