Celebrating 120 years of Event Health Services
- St John WA’s Event Health Services will celebrate 120 years of dedicated service to the Western Australian community, ensuring first aid support at events since 1904.
- Current and past Event Health Services members are invited to a celebratory event on Saturday, 14 December 2024.
- The 2024 Divisional Leader Awards will be presented during the event, recognising exceptional Volunteer Managers and Volunteer Development Officers for their commitment and leadership.
This year marks a significant milestone for the Event Health Services at St John WA, as the organisation commemorates 120 years of unwavering service, commitment and dedication to the Western Australian community.
Since its inception in 1904, Event Health Services has been at the forefront of providing high-quality, dependable health services to those attending events across the state, with trained volunteers ensuring the well-being and safety of Western Australians.
Current and former EHS members are warmly invited to celebrate this exceptional anniversary. The event will provide an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of Event Health Services, share memories and connect with those who have contributed to its legacy of care and community service.
A highlight of the day will be the presentation of the 2024 Divisional Leader Awards, recognising outstanding Volunteer Managers and Volunteer Development Officers who provide unwavering leadership, support, mentorship and guidance to more than 1000 volunteers within EHS.
