How innovation is getting ambulances back on the road

St John WA Chief Executive Officer Michelle Fyfe told the Australian Council of Health Service Management how the service is innovating to free up ambulances to respond to more Triple Zero (000) calls.

This includes a ground-breaking joint Virtual Emergency Medicine trial with Fiona Stanley Hospital.

About 6000 hours of ambulance service were returned to road during March and April through a range of initiatives including VEM.
