Remembering the best of us

Friends, family and colleagues came together to pay final respects to beloved Clinical Support Paramedic and member of the St John WA family, Tinesh Tamilkodi at a funeral on November 23.

Tinesh died when his response car crashed en route to a Priority 1 Triple Zero (000) emergency call in the early hours of November 14.

The St John WA team is devastated by the loss.

He was a treasured member of the St John WA family who had dedicated more than a decade to serving his community. His dedication, compassion, and friendship demonstrated the best of us.

Hundreds of team members turned out in the trademark green uniform and created a guard of honour which lined the streets. Family and friends told of a man whose bright smile, irrepressibly positive character and enthusiasm for life touched everyone he knew.

St John WA is planning a public memorial to pay tribute to the impact Tinesh had on his community and State with details to be confirmed early in the new year.

For the service of humanity,
