St John Academy takes to the field for football match honouring first responders

Five lucky St John Academy team members recently had the unforgettable opportunity to attend the Lights and Sirens round at the Eagles vs Richmond game at Optus Stadium.

The team members were invited to form part of the guard of honour, welcoming the players onto the field in front of a roaring crowd.

Each participant also received complimentary entry to the game, a food voucher, and the chance to bring along a parent or guardian to share in the experience.

The Lights and Sirens round celebrates the work of first responders across Western Australia, making it an especially proud moment for young representatives to stand on the field in uniform.

Launched in February this year, the St John Academy currently operates across six divisions in Morley, Rockingham, Northam, Tom Price, Warnbro, and Woodridge.

Over the course of two highly successful terms, these divisions have welcomed enthusiastic youth participants, delivered dynamic learning opportunities, and demonstrated the immense potential of the Academy model across Western Australia.
