The St John WA Wellbeing, Safety and Injury Management (WSIM) Team is a finalist in the prestigious 2025 Australian Workplace Health and Safety Awards.

The awards recognise organisations and teams across the country that demonstrate innovation and excellence in health, safety and wellbeing.

As a finalist in the ‘Team of the Year’ category, the WSIM team supports more than 7000 employees and volunteers across one of the most geographically dispersed and high-risk networks in the world.

From emergency ambulance services to patient transport, communications, logistics, and health services, the team ensures that every member of St John WA can perform their role safely, sustainably, and with wellbeing in focus.

With specialists in work health and safety, injury prevention, injury management, clinical psychology, wellbeing, AOD, respiratory protection, occupational health, the WSIM team delivers:

  • Proactive risk management and injury prevention,
  • Safety compliance and incident investigation,
  • Return-to-work coordination,
  • Psychological safety and wellbeing initiatives,
  • Enterprise-wide governance and engagement.
