St John WA rolls up to the Perth Royal Show

Press Release

St John WA’s Youth & Community team welcomes everyone back to a world of life-saving skills at the 2024 Perth Royal Show these school holidays.

Kura Bear is excited with the organisation’s new site this year, which is adjacent to the Main Arena and just across from the main train station gate.

Step inside the marquee to find activities for all ages.

Learn how to tell if something is an emergency, how to spot dangers, make a Triple Zero call with a real SJWA Communications Officer, check for a response in an injured person, discover how to clear an airway, and more – including dress-ups.

There are also some fantastic prizes to be won that money can’t buy, but you have to come along and learn all about the Chain of Survival to win.

The SJWA Youth & Community marquee will be open at the Perth Royal Show every day from 10am to 6pm for show-goers to learn essential first aid skills and get expert advice from volunteers.

As always, the SJWA Event Health Services team is also on-hand at the Show to treat any first aid or emergency needs.

The dedicated group of volunteers go above and beyond to ensure crowd safety.
