St John WA rolls up to the Perth Royal Show

Press Release

For more than 120 years, St John WA has been a big part of the Perth Royal Show, keeping crowds safe and bringing smiles to little faces with first aid and medical support for attendees and education and fun for children.

Starting this Saturday, our awesome team will be ready to roll once more.

Event Health Services (EHS) will be out in force,  operating fully equipped medical centres around the showgrounds.

Staffed by volunteers and supported by ambulances throughout the event’s duration, these MVPs contribute more than 200 hours annually, ensuring the safety and well-being of the hundreds of thousands of show-goers.

Ambulances will be on site, just in case anyone gets a little too excited in Sideshow Alley.

It’s not all about bandages and blood pressure, though.

Beyond medical services, St John WA’s Youth and Community team actively engages with the public at the show and brings the fun to first aid.

Kura Bear will be there!

Interactive displays featuring activities such as first aid demonstrations and opportunities to explore an ambulance provide entertainment and learning for curious kids and parents alike.

These initiatives aim to educate attendees on life-saving skills and promote health awareness while having fun.

The SJWA Youth & Community marquee will be open at the Perth Royal Show every day from 10am to 5pm.
