St John WA showcases career pathways at Perth Careers Expo

St John WA (SJWA) proudly participated in the 2025 Perth Careers Expo at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre held between 15 to 18 May, connecting with over 12,000 students, jobseekers and career changers across four days.

SJWA team shared insights into the wide range of career opportunities available across the organisation – from frontline roles in paramedicine and patient transport, to vital support roles in corporate services and administration.

Visitors had the chance to speak directly with paramedics, recruitment specialists and patient transport officers about their experiences and pathways into the profession.

Deputy Director of Paramedicine Andy Bell presented on the ‘Future You’ stage, highlighting the dynamic and evolving nature of pre-hospital care.

“Every member of our team, whether on the road or behind the scenes, plays a crucial role in delivering care and connection to the community,” Kienan said.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of the diverse roles at St John WA and inspire the next generation of healthcare and support professionals.
