Team members celebrate St John WA’s 2025 Experience State Conference
St John WA has wrapped up its State Conference for 2025, with this year’s Experience providing a wealth of information for attendees.
About 900 paid team members and volunteers from all around the State converged on the Perth Convention Centre on Thursday for pre-conference sessions which included presentations from STORC, Clinical Quality Improvement, Social Sustainability, the RAP team and others.

Friday’s conference started with yoga and registration, before a Welcome to Country and address from Board Chair Sally Carbon.
Dr Bill Griggs spoke about coping in chaos, and Dr Jenny Brockis talked about unleashing the power of workplace wellbeing.
Afternoon speakers included Dr Dan Pronk, who spoke about building resilience, and Scott Bales, who explained how AI could be used effectively.
Keynote speakers were interspersed with ‘Inside Chats’, which saw representatives from St John Academy, Volunteering and Health discuss their latest projects.
Friday’s session ended with St John WA’s annual awards presentations which included the announcement of the inaugural Values Awards as well as Volunteers of the Year.

Service bars and medals were also presented to volunteers in acknowledgement of their service to humanity.
The Experience wrapped up with tours of Coolamon centre in Belmont and the annual St John WA Ball on Saturday evening.
