The adventure rolls on at the Perth Caravan and Camping Show
The St John WA team were back at the Claremont Showgrounds for the 2026 Caravan and Camping Show – Perth’s signature event for outdoors and adventure-lovers.
This year’s show saw more than 23,000 people through the doors, eager to check out the latest caravans, campers and outdoors equipment and accessories.
With safety talks and demonstrations throughout the weekend, and first aid equipment for sale, St John’s presence at the event reminded the WA public that being prepared can be lifesaving.
St John’s Youth and Community team shared the safety message with young adventurers in the ‘Family Fun Zone’, while Event Health Services teams were on hand across the showgrounds to keep attendees safe and well.
“From stunning beaches to wild gorges and forests, the opportunity for adventure is endless in Western Australia,” Leanne Bott, St John WA’s Head of Training and Equipment, said.
“We’re proud to be at events like the Perth Caravan and Camping Show to ensure anyone hitting the road has the right kits and first aid knowledge to fit their travels.”

Preparation for the outdoors is key.
In FY25, ambulance crews transported more than 2300 patients to hospital after an allergic reaction, and more than 200 patients due to bites and stings across the state.
Sprains, fractures, and serious cardiac incidents can also occur in remote locations so knowing what to do in an emergency could save a life.
