St John local legends scoop Australia Day awards

St John WA would like to congratulate all winners in the Australia Day 2023 Community Citizen of the Year awards.

We believe all of our people are legends, and we are proud to see so many recognised for their tireless work in their communities.

Waroona’s Jenny McNamara was recognised as Community Citizen of the Year for her region, as was Sandra Cousins from Toodyay, Ashlea Bluett from Dardanup, Paul Munro from Kalgoorlie, and Nicki Kelly from Tom Price.

Lynn Minchin won Senior Community Citizen of the Year for Manjimup, while Rob Clarke, Pam Finn, and John Peet won the same category for their regions of Plantagenet, Ravensthorpe, and Mullewa, respectively. In Nannup, Sue Smith and Warren Smith, won a joint Senior Citizen of the Year Award.

The St John Exmouth sub centre was honoured as Community Group of the Year. St John WA Cue also won Community Group of the Year.

St John is thrilled to see the community appreciation for our people who go above and beyond in their service of humanity.
