St John WA brings Paramedics TV show to WA

St John WA is proud to announce that the next season of the highly acclaimed documentary series Paramedics will feature paramedics from Western Australia.  

This popular observational documentary, which airs on the Nine Network nationally, takes viewers behind the scenes as paramedics respond to emergency calls, showcasing the fast-paced, high-pressure world of pre-hospital care.  

The show has previously filmed ambulance services in Victoria and South Australia, and now it’s Western Australia’s time to shine. 

Filming for the new season is now underway, having kicked off in the first week of April.  

Over the next three months, St John WA paramedics will be filmed in action, providing an invaluable opportunity to highlight their life-saving work and the critical role of pre-hospital care in WA.  

This series will give the public a firsthand look at the dedication, skills, and compassion of the team as they respond to a variety of emergency situations. 

St John WA has a long history of participating in television programs that provide insight into the healthcare system.  

Previous contributions to programs such as Children’s Hospital and Junior Doctors Down Under have helped the public better understand the realities of frontline healthcare.  

These programs have served not only to educate but also to offer a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of medical professionals while maintaining patient privacy and operational integrity. 

In a similar vein, Paramedics offers a transparent and respectful portrayal of the challenges faced by ambulance crews, ensuring that patient confidentiality is always upheld.  

As with past initiatives, St John WA’s participation in Paramedics is guided by a commitment to operational priorities and ethical considerations. 

The Paramedics WA series is set to air in 2026, offering a unique and compelling look at the essential role St John WA plays in the WA healthcare system.
